Week 5 Reflection

This week we have been doing

Writing here is my piece I done - this week we were focusing on a famous Poet called Roger McGough. We looked at poem called The Midnight Skater. We then wrote our own focusing on the use of personification which is giving an object a human quality.

It’s Midnight in the cozy creaky Bathroom

It’s still and quiet as the moon opens up it’s eyes

Not a sound to be heard

Until the Toothbrush Cries

Out of the wooden cupboards one by one

Like Marching Mice They all creep

Suddenly the slippery Soap slides around the Crystal white bathroom

Soon after the Squeaky Duck pops up out of the deep

As the Toilet Talked trash to the dental floss

They were all Blinded by the hot sun that looked like gold

This was the signal to drop dead

Then a boy comes in and thinks why is his toothbrush so wet and cold.

We also did Avail
the movie we have been watching is Charlotte's Web and it's a very good movie.
We did some activities like -

WALT: Write a Descriptive piece of writing

THE BEACH

SPLASH! The beautiful clear refreshing specks of water brush against my face as I’m lounging around in my white deck chair. The lime green leaves of the slouched palm tree shade me from the golden globe in the sky. Boats gliding into the bay one by one like a marching band only smoother. I glance to the left and see kids skipping along in the sand. As I glare to the right I see an Ice cream shop, the delicious cold chocolate ball in a waffle cones are starting to tempt my tastebuds.

Marshmallow Bare Bones

1. Boy at campfire
2. Boy roasting marshmallows
3. Something creeps up behind  him 
4. boy gets scared 
5. monster takes marshmallow and eats it
6. boy gives him another one 
7. monster eats it aging 
8. monster is boy's best friend 
9. monster stays the night with boy 
10. boy wakes up and has to go 
11. monster sad
12. monster follows boy back to the city
13. boy shouts and monster to go back to his home 
14. monster goes back home 
15. after a few weeks boy comes back and the monster is so happy

I pared around the corer and I saw the most EVIL thing I had ever seen in my life

he had a breath that smelt like rotten eggs and had finger nails about a meter long.His teeth where rotten as  rotten could be and... to be continued
